A trio of German companies are forming the biggest shipbroker for container feeder tonnage with around 250 ships.
Peter Dohle Schiffahrts and its partner, Ernst Russ, are hooking up with shipbroker Stuwe & Co to form a chartering venture with the main focus on feeder tonnage up to 1,400 teu, as well as multipurpose (MPP) and dry cargo vessels.
The project, which is subject to approval from various competition authorities, plans to start trading at the beginning of August via a company called Ernst Russ Shipbroker (ERS).
