The New York listed owner, which has its entire fleet on charter to liner operator CMA CGM, sees potential growth opportunity in vessels that are midlife and older, and midsize and smaller, chief executive Ian Webber told analysts in a conference call.
“The newbuilding arena looks attractive with the yards being short of business and offering very competitive prices, but you require a significant amount of capital,” he said after the company reported first quarter earnings.
