Last week, the 103,400-dwt Kornati (built 1999) was said to have been bought by Greek owners for $9.8m. Although it was not possible to confirm the transaction, it is strongly believed that Polembros has snapped up the Tankerska Plovidba vessel.
However, reports that the Polembros family’s New Shipping has sold the 150,800-dwt tanker Naviga (built 1998) for demolition are said to be incorrect.
