The Trogir-built, 46,000-dwt Tapatio (built 2003) is set to be sold for a firm $19.9m.
UK-based online platform VesselsValue.com estimates that the ship, which is scheduled for docking in October, is worth $17.2m. But TradeWinds understands this is more of a finance deal for Laurin as it is taking the 10-year-old vessel back on a five-year bareboat charter at $7,500 per day.
