Thomas Farmer, the former Crowley Maritime executive facing criminal price-fixing charges, is fighting to move his coming trial out of Puerto Rico, where his lawyers argue he may not receive a fair hearing.
Farmer has asked the federal court on the US island territory to transfer his case to Jacksonville, Florida, where he resides and where his lawyers say potential jurors are less likely to be biased against him than in Puerto Rico.
