In March, the tanker was sold to US-listed Nordic American Tanker Shipping (NATS) for $55m, but the deal did not materialise.
In June, BP took the 158,000-dwt Almi Odyssey (built 2013) for a year at $16,250 per day and it also has a third sistership, the Almi Sky (built 2012), on time charter.
Also in the suezmax segment, there are reports that PDVSA of Venezuela has taken the 156,000-dwt Roxen Star (built 2009) for six months at an undisclosed rate.
