GasLog chief executive Paul Wogan tells TradeWinds that the company is “in discussions” at the moment on its recent buy, the 153,600-cbm STX Frontier (built 2010), and so currently cannot discuss its intentions for the ship.
But he said: “We are going to trade it.” Wogan says that like GasLog’s two 155,000-cbm, uncommitted LNG newbuildings, Hull Nos 2043 and 2044 at Samsung Heavy Industries, the company sees “a lot of options on those ships from shorter term through to longer term, so we will see where we get the best value”.
