In the past few months, secretive Singapore-based Berge Bulk has added six more large bulkers to its fleet over and above those deals already reported in the market.
This development is surprising as deals involving large ships normally tend to get reported.
The fleet expansion includes purchasing the 179,000-dwt Bulk Canada (built 2012), now trading as Berge McClintock, which was said to have been bought for $41.2m
