The ship is set for delivery in 2016. Brokers say it is costing $59m, although that would likely be on the high side.
In May, Blumenthal ordered two 180,000-dwt bulkers at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (SWS) for delivery in 2016.
Those vessels are understood to be costing $47.5m each.
Newbuilding prices have gone up since then but probably not so high, even it is HHI and not a Chinese yard involved.
