Odfjell wing partners Jo Tankers in New Times tankers order

Marianne Odfjell has joined forces with Jo Tankers to order newbuildings in China.

Larine Tankers, owned by Odfjell-controlled Larine Trust in Bermuda, has placed a contract for two firm 74,000-dwt ships at New Times Shipbuilding at a reported price of around $42m each.

Delivery is slated for July and October 2016.

Jo Tankers will provide site teams and newbuilding expertise. It will also supply Larine with all commercial, operational and technical management upon delivery of the two tankers.
