Seven panamax boxships managed by Reederei Claus-Peter Offen remain on the market, with their controlling lender, Commerzbank, appearing to be in no hurry to sell.

Brokers say the 12-year-old, 4,112-teu Santa R-class ships are under negotiation to a single buyer for around $70m. But German broking sources say the price is too low and expect the vessels’ high reefer capacity will enable them to obtain a premium of around $2m each, or $14m in total.
