Dorian LPG has drawn on chairman John Hadjipateras’s relations elsewhere in the shipping business to secure contracts for two new very large gas carriers (VLGCs).
Oslo over-the-counter (OTC)-listed Dorian this week announced five-year charters for two of its modern VLGCs.
Chief executive John Lycouris says the two contracts — at least one of which will be served by one of Dorian’s 19 VLGC newbuildings — are with Shell.
