Tanker giant Euronav has not approached Scorpio Tankers about its seven-unit VLCC newbuilding orderbook and has no near-term plans to do so.
That was the word from Euronav chief executive Paddy Rodgers at last week’s Marine Money conference in Hamburg, Germany.
“We have just done a large deal and we are going to focus on taking in those ships for the moment,” he said.
