Russia’s ongoing attempt to annex the Ukrainaian territory of Crimea has drawn the ire of many nations around the word, who are calling it an illegal move. Both the US and the European Union (EU) indicated this week that they are preparing a raft of sanctions in an effort to force Russian president Vladimir Putin to back down on his plans.
