Brokers say the 153,000-cbm GasLog Chelsea (built 2010) has been fixed for six months to act as a bridging vessel until other ships are delivered. Rate details have yet to emerge but market players expect the figure to “start with a ‘seven’”.
Last month, the ship was seen fixed to trader RWE to lift a spot cargo out of Snohvit LNG in Norway at a rate said to be in the $70,000 per day range.
