An arbitration board has rejected Premuda’s demand for compensation relating to a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel hired out to Eni Australia, the Italian company says.

The filing concerned the 80,000-dwt FPSO Four Vanguard (built 1992, converted 2003 and now named Four Rainbow), which was deployed at the Woollybutt oil field in the Carnarvon Basin off north-western Australia.

Premuda is considering an appeal and says a defensive counterclaim filed by ENI Australia for $23m “will later be discussed”.
