Hoegh officials decline to talk specifics despite earlier reports that the company has been selected as the preferred bidder for a project in Egypt.
Sources reveal that Hoegh is currently the only bidder left at the table for this business but say a deal has yet to be finalised.
Hoegh is currently sitting on two unfixed FSRUs.
Hull 2550, which currently is presented under the working title of Hoegh Gallant, is due for delivery in July.
