Zim restructuring hits service as it pulls three ships off Asia-Europe

The financially strapped Israeli line will end a partnership with China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL) on the Asia-Northern Europe route. Zim is expected to withdraw as a vessel provider on the AEX1 service in mid-April by removing three ships of up to 10,000 teu.

It will then need to hook up with new partners or be left without a presence in the trade.
