Oslo-based Aurora LPG Holding confirms it has declared options for two more very large gas carriers (VLGCs) at Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) for delivery in June and August 2016.
This brings the company’s tally at the yard to four sisterships, each costing $76m.
Last month, Aurora chief executive Borge F Johansen said he could not confirm the options had been exercised.
It now also appears that Aurora holds options for a further four ships at HHI, at the same fixed price.
