Fast-expanding Celsius Shipping has more than tripled its tally of 24,000-dwt stainless-steel chemical tankers at Nantong Mingde Heavy Industry from three to 10.
Sources say Celsius’s ordering spree will not stop there. The Jeppe Jensen-led outfit still holds four options at the Chinese yard that they believe it will declare.
Just as TradeWinds went to press, Jensen confirmed Celsius has firm orders for 10 ships at Nantong Mingde but he declined to talk about options.
