Lawyers for China’s HNA Group are claiming bribery is behind a disastrous capesize charter and a worldwide legal battle with Shagang Shipping.
Two former HNA Group and Grand China Shipping (GCS) officials are said to be in police detention and several others targeted by criminal investigators in the HNA headquarters city of Haikou in the island province of Hainan.
