Business and marketing director Hanung Budya Yuktyanta said at a VLCC naming ceremony at Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) that Pertamina plans to book two LNG carriers of between 140,000 cbm and 170,000 cbm.
Shipbuilding officials say Pertamina intends to contract the vessels directly, although it may employ others to operate the ships. They add that the business is still at a very early stage.
