Centrofin of Greece appears to be speeding up the sale of its 1990s-built tankers after offloading a second unit for demolition within a month.
The 96,000-dwt CE Wave (built 1992) has been sold “as is” in Fujairah for $475 per ldt, or $7.9m, with intended scrapping. It was purchased by the Greek owner as Pacific Wave from Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) for $23.5m
