Golar LNG takes delivery of third LNG newbuilding

John Fredriksen’s Golar LNG has finally taken delivery of a third LNG newbuilding from the company’s huge haul of 13 speculatively ordered vessels.

Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) is said to have handed over the 160,000-cbm Golar Crystal.

The company already has sisterships Golar Seal (built 2013) and Golar Celsius (built 2014) on the water and has also taken delivery of a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) for Kuwait.
