Boxship demolition is on course for a record year but it might not be enough to make a difference to the overall market picture, say analysts.
Some 70 vessels of 207,000 teu in total were sold for demolition in the first four months of the year, a figure likely to rise to 490,000 teu by the end of the year, according to Clarkson Research Services.
