Greece’s Pleiades Shipping Agents is said to have sold the STX-built, 50,000-dwt products tanker Strimon (built 2013) to Ardmore Shipping for $36m. Pleiades has two sisterships in the fleet.
German owner Ahrenkiel has sold the Hyundai Mipo-built, 37,000-dwt tanker Lobelia (built 2001) for $11.5m, brokers say.
Italian owner Navigazione Montanari is said to have sold the Shina-built, 26,200-dwt tankers Valpadana and Valdaosta (both built 2002) to a Greek buyer for $14m each.
