The deal for the 78,000-cbm Gas Friend (built 2005) with major trader Petredec is set to start in March and will generate revenues of more than $80m.
The Gas Friend is to be delivered to Petredec in the Far East and will earn a hire of $885,000 per month.
VLGC charters of this length are rare these days due to the current high spot market.
