CSAV will set about reorganising its structure by separating its business units on 1 July.
The Chilean carrier is bundling all its container business into a single subsidiary operation for liner shipping services, the company says in a customary advisory.
The reorganisation — which comes ahead of a planned merger of its container shipping operations with Hapag-Lloyd — will see CSAV’s liner services transferred to two carriers of the CSAV Group, with the majority falling under the Norasia Container Lines banner.
