Details of the agreement have not been made public other than the fact that more than $1.31m in cash frozen in a Bank of America account will be handed to Naval Magnum, a shipowning affiliate of Athens-based Laskaridis.
District Judge Denise Casper approved the settlement deal but left the door open for Naval Magnum to restart litigation within two months if the pact falls through.
