Medium-range (MR) units are giving the products-tanker sector a bad name.
That essentially was the message from Steve Christy, head of research for fast-growing Navig8, in a pitch to investors this week on the sidelines of New York’s annual Marine Money conference.
Christy’s comments should come as a further indication that recent rumours connecting Navig8 with a newbuilding order for MR tonnage were false.
