The 150,900-cbm Explorer (built 2008) arrived off Fujairah and posted an estimated time of arrival of 3 July for Dubai, a spokesman for the ship’s manager Exmar said.
The regas ship is being put into Drydocks World so the damage caused by the blaze can be assessed and repairs carried out.
A fire broke out in the engine room of the Explorer at 8.40pm
