A BG Group-controlled LNG carrier is set to ship the commissioning cargo into Indonesia’s second floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) this month.

The 150,000-cbm Neo Energy (built 2007) is understood to be bringing in the first shipment to the PGN FSRU Lampung off southern Sumatra.

Electronic data this week shows the vessel has loaded at BP’s Tangguh LNG plant and is en route to domestic gas distributor PGN’s 170,000-cbm floating regas terminal, which has a capacity of 240 million standard cubic feet per day (scf/d).
