Have Baltic Exchange shareholders put the cat among the pigeons by electing an outspoken critic to its board?

Last week’s annual general meeting (AGM) of the Baltic lacked the public bickering and self-promoting speeches of previous years but there remained an air of tension caused by the election of former chairman Peter Kerr-Dineen to the board.

Kerr-Dineen — who was the Baltic’s chairman from 2003 to 2005 — ran for re-election on the grounds that “not all is well at St Mary Axe”.

His
