The Supreme Court of British Columbia-appointed monitor to the process has requested the parties be given an extension until 1 August to resolve the key outstanding matters between them.
Previously, participants had been hoping all agreements could be put in place by the end of June so that plans could be approved this month.
But recent documents appear to show slow progress, with paperwork still in draft form and certain discussions being referred to as “preliminary”.
