Both are relationship banks for the Scorpio group, which has listed both Scorpio Bulkers (ticker code SALT) and Scorpio Tankers (ticker code STNG) on the New York Stock Exchange.
Scorpio Bulkers announced this week that the $540m loan would cover 55% financing on 24 of its 79 newbuildings on order in South Korea, China and Japan. The term is six years but the company did not disclose other details, including the bank names.
