A good operating performance over the past couple of years has led to the Standard & Poor’s (S&P) rating agency raising its assessment of the capital adequacy of the Swedish Club.

A generally positive view of the Gothenburg mutual insurer is taken by S&P but it has not led to an upgrade in the Swedish Club’s “BBB+” rating.

The rating agency says it is raising its assessment of the club’s capital and earnings to strong and was forecasting improved capital adequacy ratios for the 2014-to-2016 period.
