Oslo-based Lorentzen Skibs appears to have been inspired by its success in a project involving the panamax bulker Tarang (built 1989) by becoming managing owner of the 74,000-dwt bulker Golden Lyderhorn (built 1999).
The vessel is on bareboat charter to John Fredriksen’s Golden Ocean Group from a limited partnership company. A change to the ship’s ownership structure this year allowed Lorentzen Skibs to join the project.
