Some 13 brokers from former Braemar Shipping Services are set to be made redundant as a result of the company’s merger with compatriot listed broker ACM Shipping.
A company spokeswoman confirms to TradeWinds that a consultation period on redundancies has begun with 13 brokers after a list of those potentially heading for the exit began flying around the market. Brokers in other companies named five from each of Braemar’s clean and crude desks and three from the company’s projects team as the likely victims of the fallout from the merger.
