Teekay Offshore Partners is aiming to convert one of its existing shuttle tankers into a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) unit to deliver on its latest contract win, the company’s top executive says.
The New York-listed spin-off of tanker giant Teekay Corp plans to carry out the work as part of a potential contract for Brazil’s Petrobras to provide an FPSO on the Libra field in the deepwater Santos Basin.
