Maltby will leave his post as managing director of Pacific Basin (UK) to become chairman of the LPG owner, replacing Chris Buttery.
A spokesperson for Pacific Basin says the owner will not seek a direct replacement, with responsibility for its handysize and handymax business passing to chief operating officer Jan Rindbo.
Surinder Brrar will leadcommercial activities in the Pacific, with Kristian Helt fronting the Atlantic arm.
