A second Greek owner has started transporting what many view as disputed cargoes of Iraqi Kurdish crude oil.

The George Economou-controlled, 156,800-dwt tanker Kamari (built 2009) is reported to have loaded cargoes from the southern Turkish port of Ceyhan.

A senior executive in the Economou group confirms the ship has lifted cargoes on two occaions. The first is understood to have been delivered directly, while the second was said to have been transhipped to a smaller vessel, the 73,600-dwt United Carrier (built 2007), for delivery to Omisalj port in Croatia.
