The Onassis group is pressing ahead with its fleet renewal and has just added a pair of aframax tankers to its shopping trolley.

Olympic Shipping, the group’s management arm, is said to have bought the 104,800-dwt Enrica Lexie and DT Providence (both built 2008) for $34m apiece.

The tankers are in the fleet of Italy’s Dolphin Tanker, which is part of the Fratelli D’Amato group.
