Golar’s interim results presentation shows that of the company’s remaining eight undelivered newbuildings, which are in the works at Samsung Heavy Industries and Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, three are now scheduled for handover in September and two in October, with one each to follow in the three subsequent months.
Company chief executive Doug Arnell advises that, while these are the contractual dates, “ongoing discussions” with shipyards may mean the deliveries of some of the ships will move out into the later part of this year or early in next.
