A number of Greek newbuilding orders have been uncovered that had slipped under the radar.
Union Commercial Inc is due to take delivery of a 37,600-dwt geared bulker next month from Imabari Shipbuilding of Japan, while it has a similar ship on order for delivery in the second quarter of 2016.
Company president Michael Scufalos says the order for the second unit was placed as long ago as December.
