French marines seized the 466,000-cbf Stina (built 1983) in September 2013 in international waters in the Atlantic and took it to Martinique, as reported by TradeWinds’ website.

The ship had been chartered by Banacol, a fruit exporter based in Medellin, Colombia, to carry about 220,000 boxes of bananas to Algeria.

“It was like piracy,” Holy House Shipping managing director Mats Ruhne told TradeWinds.
