A US judge has signed off on a deal between Overseas Shipholding Group (OSG) and an affiliate of Turkey’s Geden Holdings to settle a row over the fallout from the 2010 discovery of cocaine on a tanker.
US Bankruptcy Judge Peter Walsh put his stamp of approval on the so-called drop hands agreement, which will see both sides withdraw their claims against each other without payment.
