Derrick, a subsea specialist with offices in Aberdeen and Guildford, Surrey, was purchased in recent weeks by Pareto JGO Shipbrokers of Norway.
JGO — which says it has carried out subsea newbuilding contracts on a ratio of around 10 to one compared with competitors — made the move on Derrick to strengthen its subsea footprint on the subsea vessel chartering side.
