The Mogster family of Austevoll, Norway, is making an estimated $10m-plus profit from the sale of a 20% stake in five shuttle tankers to Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) of Japan.

The family had a 40% share in Viken Shuttle, which owned the tankers. They are on 15-year bareboat charters to Brazil’s Transpetro. Viken Shipping held the other 60%.

Last week, it was announced that MOL was buying a 50% stake in the project in a deal that values the tankers at $550m.
