Local media reports quote prime minister Algirdas Butkevicius as saying Hoegh LNG’s 170,132-cbm FSRU Independence will be on station by November.
The Independence was delivered by Hyundai Heavy Industries in May. Electronic data shows the ship is currently in Trinidad & Tobago where it is believed to be loading a cargo for GDF Suez. It is due to arrive in Barcelona, Spain, with the shipment on 22 September.
