Shipbuilders have submitted commercial offers to BP Shipping for a raft of up to eight LNG newbuildings that will become the new generation of vessels to carry cargoes for its parent energy major.
TradeWinds understands bids went in during the past few days in what is expected to be a highly competitive battle for delivery slots in a year being targeted by several other outfits also looking for LNG berth slots.
